A level four drought response prohibits most types of residential outdoor water use (which includes landscaping, pools, car washes, and pressure washing). As per the City of Roswell, information is as follows: Notice: Beginning in April 2008, the City of Roswell will implement new water rates for its customers. The City is adjusting its rates to further enhance incentives for our water users to conserve, provide funding for maintenance and upgrades to our water system, and to maintain stability of the rate structure. Water Rate Changes First Tier: 0 - 10,000 gallons
New rate: $3.70 per 1,000 gallons Second Tier: 10,001 - 20,000 gallons
New rate: $7.40 per 1,000 gallons Third Tier: Above 20,000 gallons
New rate: $11.10 per 1,000 gallons Customers will also see a bimonthly service charge of $7 on your bill for a standard residential meter (3/4 inch).
